Event Venue Overview
The 2025 VIP Pass features the beautiful backdrop of downtown Columbus, Georgia with four amazing K9s: K9 Axel with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety (left), K9 Frog with Columbus Police Department (top center), K9 Harley with the Statesboro Police Department (bottom center) and the one and only Retired K9 Jerry Lee!
What to Expect…
General: An Evening for the K9s is the most highly anticipated K9 fundraiser we host annually! Over 1,000 people attend throughout the night! You will meet 40+ K9 teams from across the country, enjoy music, drinks, food, raffles, a silent auction, live auction, K9 demos, meet celebrity guests, and more!
About the venue: This year, our entire event will be held indoors, in the air-conditioned Columbus Convention and Trade Center's North, South, and Center Halls.
Attendance Options: For a $10 donation, you can enter the event at 7:00 pm! We also offer a VIP experience, sponsorship opportunities, and a virtual option! Tickets are available at the door.
A general ticket/VIP pass also grants you access to the Romance Atlanta Writers & Readers Event, which benefits our foundation and takes place from Noon to 4 p.m. earlier in the day. Select K9s will also be there to meet!
Food: The convention center will provide food, including hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, and wraps with protein options. There are also gluten-free and vegan options! Prices range from $7 to $15. A portion of the proceeds from those sales will be donated back to our foundation!
Drinks: The convention center will provide drinks and a cash bar from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and an open bar will be available for VIP passes from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Dress code: Casual
Payment options: We accept cash, cards, and checks.
Schedule of Events: VIP entry at 6 pm. General Entry at 7 pm. Silent Auction closes at 9:15 pm. Handler raffle drawing 9:15 pm. Closing remarks 9:30 pm. Raffle drawing 9:45 pm. Live auction to follow.

Hotel Recommendations: AC Hotel Downtown Columbus, GA (It is not pet friendly. You must locate a pet-friendly hotel if you want to bring your pet. Pets are not allowed in the event venue either.)
Travel: There are airport options in Columbus, GA (CSG), Atlanta, GA (ATL), and Birmingham, AL (BHM).
Our Connection with RAWR: RAWR, which stands for Romance Atlanta Writers & Readers, is a pro-first responder group. RAWR holds an annual event and chooses a beneficiary to receive a portion of its proceeds. In 2024, RAWR selected our foundation as the beneficiary and donated $2,500 to support our mission. We discussed the possibility of being the beneficiary of their 2025 event. They mentioned that their event will take place at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. After our discussion with the venue, we confirmed they could provide everything we needed for An Evening with the K9s.
